Dear Parent/Carer,

As harvest time is approaching we would be very grateful if you could support us in our harvest festival, which will be held on Friday October 27th, by contributing to our offering which will be donated to the Merthyr and Cynon Valley Foodbank, operated by the Trussell Trust.

We would be very grateful if you could have a look in your cupboards or collect an item the next time you are out shopping in order to donate from the list below, as these are the items that are in most need by this charity.

    Tinned rice pudding
    Tinned fruit
    Tinned fish
    Packets of Mashed Potato
    Instant Coffee
    Cartons of long-life juice (not from the chiller cabinet)
    Cartons of long-life milk (not from the chiller cabinet)

We are asking for a minimum donation of one item per child in Years 8 - 13 to be brought in to school and given to your son/daughter’s form teacher by Thursday 26th October 2017. Thank you in advance for your support in this matter. I am sure we will have an offering second to none!

Yours sincerely,

Mrs M. Pearce
Deputy Head-teacher
