Qualifications Wales - Qualified for the future, have your say

Do you want a say in how we can best prepare young people for life, learning and work?

From 2022, education in Wales is changing. Now is the time to have your say on what this will mean for qualifications.

Until 9 April 2021, we’re consulting on:

the GCSE subjects that should be available in the future;

the other made-for-Wales qualifications that should also be available.

We’re focusing on six Areas of Learning and Development:

Science & Technology;

Humanities;

Health & Wellbeing;

Expressive Arts;

Maths & Numeracy;

Language, Literacy and Communication;

There are two versions of the consultation, the main consultation document (https://bit.ly/3j6AWp5) and a summary, youth-friendly version (https://bit.ly/2MfaD4o). We’d love for you to share it with family members, friends and colleagues and help inform our decisions.

Your views are important to us and your feedback will help us determine if our proposals are right and/or where they need changing.

Visit our Qualified for the Future web pages here (https://bit.ly/3teFT3P). The consultation closes on 9 April.
