School Uniform

Dear Parent / Carer,

Thank you for your continued support in ensuring that pupils arrive in school fully prepared for the school day.

As the spring term comes to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to clarify a few questions around school uniform.  We are proud of the standards that almost all pupils maintain around school uniform however; a few pupils are not currently meeting the required standard.  When we return following the Easter break, I would appreciate your support in ensuring that all pupils are in the correct school uniform.

Footwear – All pupils are required to wear black shoes, please note that trainers are not permitted.

Trousers – Smart black trousers must be worn, please note that jeans or fitted leggings are not appropriate.

Blazers – School blazers are a compulsory part of our school uniform and should be worn every day.  The school jumper is optional.

Outer Coats – Coats should be dark in colour and removed when pupils enter the school building.  Please be aware that hoodies and track suit tops are not permitted.

Piercings – Pupils are only permitted to wear one pair of plain studs in the lobe of the ear, no other piercings are permitted.

I recognise that the vast majority of pupils are already complying with our school uniform policy.  I wish you and your family a pleasant Easter break.  The summer term begins on Monday April 16th.

Kind regards.
