The Governing Body of Aberdare Community School has with immediate effect two parent governor vacancies and are looking for parents who are interested in this role. (A parent governor is a person with parental responsibility for a pupil attending the school).

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Wednesday October 11th, 2023. Any forms received after the date noted above will not be considered. Please note that an election will be held if more nominations are received than there are vacancies.

Distribution of nomination forms – Wednesday October 4th, 2023
Closing date for receipt of nominations forms – Wednesday October 11th 2023 (noon)
Distribution of ballot papers (if applicable) – Monday October 16th, 2023
Receipt of ballot papers – Monday October 23rd, 2023 (noon)
Ballot papers counted and result announced – Tuesday October 24th 2023
